Credit Union of New Jersey Donates $25,000 for Trenton Youth

TRENTON, NJ—Credit Union of New Jersey is proud to announce the first of three $25,000 donations to the Henry J. Austin Health Center, to be given over the next three years, for a total donation of $75,000. The check presentation was held Wednesday, April 19th with representatives from Henry J. Austin. This philanthropic gift, in support of the Vision to Learn program specific to the “A Vision for Trenton Youth” initiative, will allow Trenton students to receive vision screenings, exams, and prescription glasses.

“We are grateful to receive this philanthropic support from the Credit Union of New Jersey,” says Kemi Alli, MD, Chief Executive Officer of Henry J. Austin Health Center. “Thanks to their gift, we will provide Trenton students with vision screenings, exams, and prescription glasses. Partnerships like this one continue to help underserved communities in Trenton by breaking down barriers to healthcare.”

The Credit Union of New Jersey Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2012 with the goal of promoting financial education and supporting non-profits in the communities we serve.
